AKATANEE is Ama Akata’s studio shop for creations of African origins and beyond. Born of Akan heritage, Ama embraces her American upbringing as it has brought her remarkably close to her brothers and sisters from outside of her home continent.

Akatanee exists to integrate African culture and aesthetics of and outside the continent —all while bringing each pieces into closets all over the globe.
